The Veneto Restaurant is situated within the garden of the Hotel Veneto (www.veneto.gr). Here you can enjoy Cretan, Greek and creative tastes in one of the most well known restaurants of Crete. The owner, who is a member of the Wine and Taste Academy, is responsible for the organisation of the restaurant.
We have meticulously chosen products from the Greek and particularly the Cretan nature in order to offer them to our exquisite clientele satisfying their gastronomic desires, in a place whose 700 years of history will take you, even for just few hours, to another dimension full of scents, images of the past, to an uplift of senses.
VENETO, an old Venetian 14th century manor house, is located in the heart of the Old Town of Rethymno, just a 3-minute walking distance from the commercial area, the museums, the beach and the numerous cafes, restaurants and nightclubs.
We have restored it with respect to the character and architecture of the building, offering a unique experience to all our visitors whether it will be for the Restaurant or the Hotel itself.
In our stone-built winecellar you can find some of the most carefully selected wines from the Cretan, Greek and national vineries.
